I took the photo a couple of days ago at Westlake. Willow without leaves looks a little ...
We've been asked about some phylosophical questions again and again for a whole week, here's one of them ( I guess it's the simplest one our funny Marxism teacher threw to us)
What do you think about those suicide bombers? What makes them so 'detached'?
I guess the reason is that they have nothing to lose, they're poor, they're widow and widowers, they're religious extremes. When you're afraid of losing things, you can't be detached.
I'm afraid of losing, that's why I believe the willow looks better with leaves, but when it has to lose, we can do nothing but accept, hey, it doesn't look so terrible, right? and somehow beautiful!
When the summer comes, the willow can see the green leaves again~

its a beautiful pic..
interesting philosophy - do they really have nothing to lose? is there no light at the end of the tunnel? call me selfish, but i wouldn't give up my life so easily
Beautiful. Could also be a painting.
The willow may look more beautiful with its green leaves but your photo is awesome!
That is a gorgeous picture - our own willow still has lots of leaves but other trees are shedding theirs - when they do they will offer up views that the leaves hide, so I find no remorse for their loss.
For human lives I feel tremendous remorse.
It does look so sad and wispy without its leaves. I never realized its branches are so thin!
Your photo is so beautiful and evocative!
Each season has it charm and beauty! Here we have another proof!
Almost a painting great photo...
Yes I was leaning on the floor to make the kids with bikes photo...
Not that I want to lose, I just need someone to tell me there's some light at the end of the tunnel, could be a mail, several lines...whatever, but I didn't see anything so far
