Your Idea?

@BJ district, this is the place I work in now. Binjiang district locates in the most southern part while I live in the Northern side of HZ. Everyday I gotta spend about 4.5 hours on the road, but never a boring thing because the scenery along the road is quite soothing.

I'm thinking to move this blog to www.hangzhoudailyphoto.com
It's kinda tiring to log in blogger.com everyday via proxy.
But I really love the blogger friends here.

I have posted many Hangzhou's tourist sites, time for sth more living.

This photo is taken at the residential Yongqin Rd in Tsan-Hua-Yuan area.

Eye of the Night

Ahh, so I took this pic about an hour ago at Yanggong Causeway
The reflection of this bridge makes it a charming eyelid.
There was a bit rain, but absolutely a soothing view.

Seperated Ways

@Qiantang River Bridge

Normally narrow bridges like this one do not allow bycicles and pedestrians, but this bridge is also for sight seeing, so bycicles and pedestrians are allowed on the two sides, auto mobiles in the middle. They go by parallel lines in seperated lanes, everybody is safe.

Raining...

The rain comes, the high temperatures down.

Each year, small and big typhoons really help cool down the hot city.
The photo was taken at Moganshan Rd near the Yuhangtang River.

Yuhu Bay

Pic taken at Yuhu Bay from another angle.

Yuhu bay is a scenic spot near "曲院风荷",literally means 'Breeze-ruffled Lotus at Quyuan Garden'. The name is a bit poetic, isn't it?

Ring...

So I am a bit excited about this...

It feels good to witness some great part of history.
The total sun eclipse in 2009, July the 22th.
This pic was taken when the sun was about to show up in the sky again, that's why you see the up side of the circle is getting thick.

So...my feeling is it's good to have our sun everyday.

Gongchen Bridge

The age old Gongchen bridge..

The midway is for bycicles and the steps on the two sides are for pedestrians.

...

I caught this fast-moving 'objective' when I was crossing the Nanshan road.

It's not cool at all...Be careful when you drive

Mountains...

So..this is what I like Hangzhou the most, ranges upon ranges of mountains.

A bit mysterious, but quite peaceful.
There are many retired officers and celebrites choose HZ as their second home, sometimes just to clean their souls.

Another sunset view near the Qu Garden.

Summer is Here

Another view of the West Lake, and this seems like Hangzhou is a cool place. If you think so, you think wrong... It is 38 celcius degrees, my god, the best season to tour Hangzhou is defintely not summer, unless you are a photographer interested in lotus shots.

Bird View

This picture was taken from the 22ned floor window of a building in Binjiang district, the river in the distance is Qiantang River.
The BJ district locates in the most southern part of Hangzhou, and basically it is a hi-tech zone, that's why you see more buildings than trees here.

Hope you enjoy the scene as I did!

I have no idea what kind of tree is this.
Spring is here but we still can find traces of 2008 winter as the tree trunks are still empty of leaves.

A narrow greeny path leading to a pavilion ...you see the red spot over there?
The lights stood on the two sides of this path will be turned on when night comes.

Spring

@ Yunsong book resort

Yunsong book resort is a tea house built in 1994 and funded by Jinyong, one of the most famous novelists in China.
I take this photo in the backyard of the book resort. I love how the leaves scattered around . When layers of yellow leaves gather here, spring is here.

Taking photos of kids is a cheering but also tiring job. They jump up and down, never stop moving.
I was able to take this photo, greatly attributed to this waitress's help.
