Midnight Willow

Wish you a happy Tuesday! It's another night shot of the Grand Canal that I took several days ago.
Willow trees have a close connection with spirits in some countries. They even had a Japanese ghost story named Green Willow...

Again, Grand Canal

I dont think I'm gonna be able to out for more photos today. The headache has upgraded to a fever I guess.

I dont like to sound like a teacher or some toursit guide, but you might be interested in the history of it, that's more than 2500 years...

North or South?

To the south, the canal stretches its way to the heart of this city, heading towards Beijing; to the north, this is where this great canal ends (in the last post).

Which side do you prefer, north or south? I love this one(south) more.

I need a few days to deal with my papers, my partner will continue blogging.

The buildings on the right side is the goverment building and district court of the Gong-shu area, the place I live now, and you see the Water Bus(off work, so no light on) in the canal? This is one of our transportation tools, it can take you to the downtown area of Hangzhou. So it is a really good alternative for cars.
